My 1992 Hunter 33.5 has several small "dings" where the deck area fiberglass has been damaged. Is there a "repair" product out there? Something like "plastic wood" for fiberglass that dries white. Thanks.

Would be good to have pictures. White gel coat is what it sounds like you need. Do not use an epoxy product as it will yellow and fail after a couple of years. Epoxy has poor UV resistance and if this is on your deck I assume it will be exposed to sun light. A gelcoat mixed with filler should work for small repairs. you should be able to get this at West marine. Good luck

It's incredible all the bad information one can get here. Watertight is a blue green epoxy product designed for under the waterline use and not for gelcoat repair. Most epoxy products are incompatible with gelcoat and are far too expensive for average repair jobs. Use polyester. You can fill "dings" with white gelcoat and if you use the kind with wax, then it will cure without having to apply a PVA (poly vinyl alcohol) product or wax paper, etc. over it to eliminate the air so it will cure. Evercoat also makes a product called gel coat scratch patch which comes in white and is in a tube and designed to deal with simple gel coat ding repairs.
