Hi. I'm a two-day old Hunter 375 owner (1991 vintage) and I've heard that the stock two-blade prop is quite prone to vibration plus being naturally inefficient and suboptimal in reverse. I'm thinking about going to a 3 blade folding or feathering prop - possibly a Variprop and wondering if anyone has direct experience. I will be cruising, not racing. Thanks!

I added a three blade flexofold to replace a three blade fixed prop on my 2007 H-36 and very impressed with motoring, sailing and reverse when backing into my slip also.

I've had a 2 blade martec folder, 3 blade fixed Campbell Sailer and now 3 blade Kiwi feathering prop. I'm very happy with the Kiwi, both motoring and sailing. No more props planned

I have a new 2 blade fixed prop on my Hunter 386 and have no vibration or reverse, motoring or sailing issues. I replaced a 2 blade folding prop on my Hunter 31 with a 3 blade fixed prop. It provided significantly better reverse and motoring capability and no sailing issues.

Thanks all. Appreciate the advice. Will likely go with the flexofold...
