faulty Nissan 3.5 outboard

my nissan 3.5 outboard cooling water will not flow through and flushing didn't help. Any suggestions?

Broken impeller

I have a Yamaha 4 outboard and they recommend changing the water pump impeller every couple of years. I'm getting ready to have mine replaced now because my water flow seems less than normal and the engine seems to run a little hot. It's only a $25.00 repair kit and not a lot of labor if you're so inclined to do it yourself. Do you know when your water pump assembly and impeller was last checked or replaced? Also could be clogged inlet, outlet or water passages although it sounds like your flush water went through so I would lean towards the impeller.

Mercuty 3.3 impeller

I just replaced the impeller on the 3.3 Mercury that is 4 years old. Would not pump at below half speed. Impeller had lost 4 of 6 blades. Recovered broken blades and replaced impeller. Difficult work; like heart sugery. Need right tools but it can be done. Have to separate lower unit from upper and then reconnect [the hard part]. Shifter connection the most difficult. Works great now.
