Faucet is leaking

Faucet is leaking above the faucet spout below the cartridge. I changed out the cartridge and it still leaked. I replaced the one in the galley and now the one in the head has the same leak. Could it be the spout ring? Is there a cheaper way to repair this than replacing it?

Maybe try dis-assembling the cartridge portion and slather the "spout O ring" with a non-petroleum grease such as SuperLube and re-assemble. These cartridges rarely leak.

Sounds like you're repeating the same mistake if both now leak.

Thanks - I pulled all the o rings off and slathered them in Lanolin - seems to have stopped it for now. Thanks L
