Where do I locate replacement handles for my bathroom faucets. The stemon the valve is small so the hardware stores don't carry the correct size handles.

I dont know about the handles but the RV industry uses many of the same fixtures as boats

Yes, we'll need to confirm which faucet you have but we either stock the valve or can get it quickly.

There is no stamp on the faucet to indicate who the manufacturer is but I remember the name scavik came up on time. Does that make since. I'll also check a plumbing supply.

If Phil can't find you a valve...

Extract it from the fixture and take it to one of the big box DIY stores to match it to the many choices they have.

A matching replacement for a worn-out knob core is a bit more of a clearance challenge due to a possible difference in the height of the new stem top above the fixture base compared to the original one.

FWIW, some faucet makers guarantee their products for life. Moen is one example. In some cases the guarantee applies to only their valves and related parts. I did not know what brand we had on our boat so I sent a picture of our faucet to an online distributor. He quickly told me it was Grohe. The spout that broke during a hard freeze was not covered by their guarantee.

In the case of our high end Moen products that we have in our home, I called them, explained that our bathroom faucet was leaking and asked what I should do. They asked me to give them the ID number off of the faucet, my name and mailing address, and that they would send me two new valves, which I have since received; one for the hot side and one for the cold side, covered by their life time warranty. I had the same experience with our Moen kitchen faucet, but in the end they sent me a brand new faucet as the repair parts they sent would not fit our model that they claimed were supposed to.

Whether you have the same experience, time will tell, but it would be worth your while to take similar steps to see if you have the same or similar outcome. However, if money is not an issue, your local big box store will gladly part with your money in exchange for faucet valves.

Please let us know what you find out.

Of out ends up that the faucet can't be repaired, just replace the whole thing from an RV or DIY store. Nothing marine about it, it's just a faucet.
