Anyone know of a company that sells single style water shut offs like the ones in the picture? I have searched high and low but can not find anything like this? I can switch to a unit that has the handles where the pull out shower head is but as you can see the base might not fit. I'm limited on the width of the base not to mention the holes that will be left behind from the old handles.

I would like to find replacements for what I have if at all possible.

Thanks

Try RV dealers such as Camper World. I found a shower faucet for a friend's boat at one of the RV centers.

You'll find all kinds of 'em at Home Depot...Lowes...

There's nothing arcanely "marine" about a faucet (or a stainless sink or handheld shower or...)... It doesn't appear to me that there is any "base" connected to the hot and cold knobs...they look to me to be independently installed. Take the actual faucet with you...I think you'll find that anything on the shelves will fit the plumbing.

The fixture shown is made by Grohe, I am prety sure. I bought a replacement for my 37 bu the fixture is a single piece with integrated handles where the spout comes out of the cabinet.

You may find these on eBay anywhere from $45 to $200+ (the real price) I got lucky and bought mine brand new for about $60.00.

Here it is installed

Spent the day up there today installing the new faucet and removing the old before I replace the plumbing. I picked up some Pex to replace the old rubber hoses that keep blowing off the hot water tank. That was a great tip on the faucets on Ebay, I picked up two even though the galley had a new Moen installed with the counter top last winter.

I'm going to make a teak plate with a small shelf in it to cover the holes from the old faucets, I'll update this with a picture as soon as it is done.

Great news and looks fantastic.

That's the way my 37 sink looks except it has off white gelcoat instead of white.

I also got two faucets to be prepared in the future, the price was unbeatable. I still have to replace my old one which is not too bad.

Did you see the shots of the interior refurbish? I have to do the rest of the finish inside, sole, and having the nav station table covered in the same synthetic leather used on the salon.

I will post more pics when done.

I wish I could get a reply from Japan on hardware...I am afraid I am going to have to have the old stuff replated.

Ciao,

I had good luck contacting Japan for parts but it has been two years since I communicated with the gentleman there.

I would love to see a picture of your sink layout..... Your interior upgrades look great! It is the first time I've see the inside of a Y37.

Thanks

I had no luck with the contacts Bob had listed. Tried twice.

Thank you for the kind words. I will continue to post as we get work done. Last weekend hung the TV on the bulkhead behind the nav seat on a folding arm. It is a 23".

Will take some pics of the sink which is no where near as nice as yours.

You know the 37's were made to order so they have different interiors. Ours is just like yours and the Y33 layout. Russ said there were 4 Y37's around including ours.

I went yesterday to check on it, one of 4 batteries was hot and smelled like sulfur. I thought it was sweage. Now need to get a new one and have all circuits checked, charger, etc. It never ends does it?

Have a good weekend.
