Has anybody used this inexpensive item for cleaning & lubricating the sail track on the mast? I've got a H376 and this looks like it might at least help a bit getting that big mainsail up.

Seems to work well for a season. Definitely worth it. Rick D.

Fast Track Lube

We to used the fastrack lube and it helped out alot. It does collect dust and dirt but we clean out the track at the end of each season and we just apply some to each sail slug if it starts to get sticky again. We used some of the "dry" type lubes and it didn't seem to work quite as well. Rob Morton

The ad states

The link you added to WM states that the kit is for headsail tracks up to 25' in length. I bet the applicator is too small for a main track on your H376.

Helps A Lot

They make a little aluminum gizzmo with felt attached to apply it. It slides in the sail track and you pull it up with the halyard to get the whole lenghth. Just don't forget to attach a messenger line to pull it back down,

Better idea

Use Dawn or any liquid detergent instead, and inject it using a West System syringe. Easier, cheaper, won't build up grease, won't stain sail, and washes out. Use once a month.

??

Bill, How where are you injecting the detergent using the syringe?
