Farewell

After 10 happy years I have sold my Vega, a victim of ten foot-itis.
I now own a bigger boat but I will never own a better boat. Perhaps
when the kids grow up and set sail, I will down size back to a
Vega... Looking at the pictures of the Northwest get-together, I
realize that its not just these boats, but the people who sail them,
who share their experience and enthusiasm that make the Vega what it
is. May it always be so. The new owner of ALCYON is a lucky man.

I've sold my beloved Vega, Blue Fin to Vernon--please treat him as well as you have me.

We're purchasing a 35' Rafiki (78) and excited about where she might take us.
