Nine and a half years ago I wanted a cruising boat I could stand up in and buy on the one payment plan. The Hunter 34 seemed like a good choice for coastal cruising. This continues to be a great site to share information about these vessels. Early on I learned a few things and later posted my share or pictures and advice. Thanks to all who contributed and answered my questions years ago. I hope I was able to help others during the past few years. The old girl served my well since 1994 but was never really the boat I wanted. I got to learn all about Foss Foam rudders (I bought two $$), rusty cast iron keels, wooden compression posts, leaking ports, decks and toe rails. Although I corrected and updated most all of those problems it's time to move on to another boat. For the short term I'll be cruising the east coast on an Albin Trawler called "Miss Sail'n" while casually looking for a sailboat better suited for off shore duty. Guess I'd like a heavier stiffer boat that draws less water. Don't tell my crew the trawler is temporary cause I think she likes it. I'm re-learning those technical motorboat terms like "FILLER UP". Good Winds! (except where my stinkpot is) Barry (formerly aboard PER DIEM too, now aboard Miss Sail'n)

...and, so what makes you think you won't need advice on the Albin?
