Slightly off topic- sorry.
Does anyone know who can do rope and knot work on my 13 inch"destoyer type" steering wheel?
Wrapping the spokes and wheel in white small rope- very nautical looking.
Thanks,
Rick

Have your wife do it Rick. Buy the book. Seriously. But your wheel is only 13"?! The H37C will be a real handful with a wheel that small.

Most of the knots I have seen on wheels are a Turks head that denotes the rudder centered and the knots that form a spiral are half hitches tied in series (one after another). It really isn't hard once you learn and do a little practice. There are a number of knot books out there but if you go to http://www.animatedknots.com/index.php?LogoImage=LogoGrog.jpg&Website=www.animatedknots.com
you will find them online and animated.I'd offer to do it for you but I think I am too far away. Good luck.
