Some of our best sailing days have been this fall, along with all the trees changing colors.... My wife was my first mate, but she had a litle difficulty in the heavy breezes. Now, when my son and I go out, we take on every heavy wind / gusts... and often enjoy racing and getting the max out of our O'Day 192. Sailing may be limited this fall if the cold weather comes early, but we are looking forward to the spring already.
