My O'Day 22 does not have any fairleads and I am wondering if it should. The reason I ask this is because the leech on my jib is loose and always fluttering. I think I can tighten it up by moving the blocks forward or installing fairleads. Any other suggestions are welcome!

Do you have a leech line in the leech hem of your sail? It should look like a thin rope exiting near the clew of the sail. There should be a way to tighten and loosen the line, a small cleat, Velcro tab or maybe just a loop of string that you tie the leech line to. If you have one tighten it just to the point that it stops the flutter, don’t tighten too much.
