As you guys can see, I'm on a mission to get this old boat fixed up. A lot of the lines are pretty shot. What kind of rope should I look for to replace the fairleads on the jib and the halyards? Is there an online place to procure said items? Thanks again!

Bob, Do you have any of the old lines from the boat? I would replace w/ the same diameter. You can always buy from west marine. Research the are where you live. There might be a boat consignment shop. look there for deals. Not far from where I live there is a hardware store that sells odd lengths of line. There price is about half of west marine's. So look around. I found that one of the best resources is to ask one of the old salty dogs from your nearby marina where to buy stuff for your boat. They tend to know where the deals are. Kevin

new line

I recently replaced mine on an Oday 22 that had sat idle for 5 years. I got them from west marine and had them sent to the rigging shop. Other than a mix up on the boomvang which was fixed and sent via FedEX everything came out fine. I also noticed in a recent flyer they are having a sale on line.
