Any info about visiting the Hunter factory in Florida? Can we just go in without calling or anything? Thanks for any help.

-800 number.

See Related Link. I'd call them and get the straight skinny. Maybe I will since I will be in the area in March. I can see my dockmates new H386 being built!

They have scheduled tours...

2-3 times a day. Usually you're one-on-one with a designated employee (often a line worker) who walks you through the plant. If you catch the timing right (and ask) they'll let you walk through some nearly completed boats after the tour. It doesn't hurt to call, but I've done it by just walking in.

Wish I was closer!

You know the service I have recieve from Hunter in particular Greg has been nothing short of fantastic. I would dearly like to tour the factory and meet the people but the "circumnavigation" at the moment is a problem. By the way to all you guys sitting around open fires roasting marshmellos the weather down here is getting a little boring? 25-30c each day and 10-15 knots has been the norm for the past few weeks. (and about time) Regards to all.

Good Tour

Sharyn, There are scheduled times for the daily tours and I would recommend you confirm with Hunter which time you want to tour. Show up early as they'll ask you to fill out a questionnaire and view a video. Then you'll be escorted by a line employee and be given a great tour. Very little in the factory was off limits and we really were impressed with the entire manufacturing process. Makes us very comfortable with our boat. Fair winds, Steve S/V Options
