Factory Jib Blues on Mac 26 s

Ok, is it just me, or does attempting to sail with the facory jib equal heartache and woes? It seems that I cannot steer the desired path when using that #*%$&@^ jib. It steers the boat. Is it too small? Do I have it too tight? I've used a 125% jib with no problem on other sailboats. Please give some insight. -Jerry

Hi Jerry. I own a 1988 model 26D and I have no problems with the factory jib on my boat .. but I have one question for you .. have you made the rudder mod. to your rudder yet? If you havent maybe you should try it . It made a world of difference on my boat. Also what Part of Alabama are you in .. im all ways looking for Mac. owners close to me. David
