Facnor tape drive furler

Got a price quote good for 14 days to think it over.
Is for furling, reefing. About 190 sq ft.
Yes/no good/bad why or why not.....this is a question about the Facnor furling unit itself, not the concept of to have a furling unit or not.

Hi,

If you choose a jib for the conditions you expect, and sometimes that works for entire seasons, then reefing y not be necessary. I sailed for years with hank ons, and learned how to do it, albeit in SF. Here, I run a 85/95 all the time. If it gets blustery, I'm covered, if it's almost calm I relax or motor. My BIG jib is a 110.
