Hello everyone, Let me thank you in advance for any help or advice you can give me. I am looking to put a sail handling system on the main. I was looking at the e z jax system and was wondering if anyone has any feed back or a system like it? I just put on a Kiwi Feathering prop so in time I will be able to give feed back on that with in a few weeks. Thanks again. Larry Jordan S/V Valor, C&C 35 mk III Kent Island. Md

EZJacks.... Love 'em!

Ive been using ezjax with 'wonderful' results. The chief benefit is that they can be completely retracted and 'out-of-the-way' when not needed. I use them on a 440 ft. sq. main made of stiff 9.5oz. material ... and can almost forget about 'tying-in' the first two reefs. A necessary addition is small bungee cords attached to the cap shrouds to keep the small (bullet) blocks away from the mast (chafe) when the jax are 'stored'. I prefer not to use a toping lift; instead use a rigid vang ... so that disqualifies a 'dutchman' system.

E-Z JAX are Great!

E-Z JAX are not the only answer to the problem of flaking and controlling the Main. However, that's the way I went. Very economical!

Installed Mine Last Week

Completed installing mine on a 37 cutter last week and they work great. Makes sail handling much easier and are out of the way until you need them.
