extra fusebox wiring

I added an extra fusebox with 5 switches to my nav panel on my Beneteau Oceanis 370. I am an amature. Where and how do I run a common + line for use by all switches? I have the already installed busbar that came with the boat and I noticed it has a fairly thick red wire coming into the busbar as it does with a fairly thick black ground cable. Should I daisy chain the red wire to the old busbar to the new fuse box??? Should I do the same for the ground??? I am so amature that I don't really know how the red wire is inserted into the old busbar and I don't know how/where to daisy chain if that is the right thing to do. For example, do I just stick the end of a wire into the bottom section of the busbar directly below the + or - wire or do I need to unscrew the whole busbar and look inside the busbar to see how the wires are inserted already??? Another scenerio is to find *where* the red/black wires that go to the old busbar originate and then run wires from that spot to the new fusebox. Any ideas *where* the beginning spot is for the red/black wires? Confused but working to understand, Ron
