I haven't gotten that far yet however I have 34 years experience with machine tool control wiring including Fanuc, Yaskawa, Allen Bradley and Mitsubishi. If anyone else can answer in the mean time please do so. I can draw a ladder diagram of YOT's wiring if that would help. As for testing, a cheap analog multimeter would be sufficient unless you already have a high dollar Fluke or an equivalent.
Thank you for the quick response. We are looking for someone who has specific knowledge and experience with the O'day electical system. I know it has not been built for several years, but hope we can find someone who has direct experience with the O'day 27. The information will be used in a Civil lawsuit. If you feel you fit that criteria, I can get you in touch with my attorney who needs the information.
I'm probably not the guy you want in this situation. You might do better with an electrical engineer who is well versed with NEMA regs at the time of manufacture.
RAD, thank you for your inquiry. Actually, my request is not for repair or technical support. My attorney is looking for an expert on the Oday for the purpose of analysis in a civil trial in CA. O'Day provided owners with electrical wiring system diagrams for all of their boats. This might help your lawyer.
