Experience with Lewis Bay off Hyannis Mass.?

We may be down that way the end of the month. This looks like a good alternative when sailing between Nantucket and Woods Hole when Nantucket Sound acts up(which it seems to do often when we're moving through there)

I saw on Active Captain there is an anchorage inside that sounds well protected.

I've never been but it looks very well protected in Google Earth. Hyannis is a little out of the way going through Woods Hole. We usually anchor in Edgartown MV on our way to Nantucket. Seems a shorter run. It's a great place to anchor unless it's blowing with a northerly component. Then I pick up a mooring inside. Someday I hope to make it up your way, if I could only get enough time off from work!
