Hello all
Well yesterday I had another Vega diesel past me in Rhode Island and I
couldn't hear his engine! I saw the water out the port but no sound. I tried
to raise him on vhf but he was too busy being laid back. Now the part that I
found amazing is that on both my Vegas the exhaust left the engine, went
straight back aft to the transom, up over a loop or elbow and straight out
the back PUTT PUTT PUTT and were both quite loud in comparison to my Irwin
which has the yanmar & muffler. Was the Vega origionally equipped with a
muffler of sorts and the two I have owned had them removed? Is there a way
to add one easily?Thanks in advance!
