Exhaust size

I'm rebuilding the exhaust on my Vega (Yanmar 2GMF, 13hp) and am
planning to use a Vetus Waterlock.
But I'm undecided as to what size I should be using ... 2" or 1 5/8" ?

I think Yanmar uses a 45mm (1.77") elbow. (I use an 8"
riser/ elbow). The other end is your through-hull, which
you have to match. I used a 13/4" to the waterlock, and a
2" from the lock to the through-hull. The vetus waterlock
can have in = 1 3/2" and out = 2"
