exhaust riser

Has anybody upgraded to the cast riser Westerbeke # 200490. What do you run from riser to water lift muffler. How does it attach to engine. Any Info would be appreciated. Thanks

It looks like the one on my engine, I think Westerbeke uses this in a lot of applications. There is a mating flange on the exhaust manifold and a band clamp with a groove inside that squishes a gasket between the two. Mine was installed with "standard" marine reinforced exhaust hose.

You should check the documentation on the Westerbeke site, they have a really good library for most engines they have sold.

I checked Westerbeke's site but they must not have used this riser with a M25XPC engine. I also changed To a Oberdorfer raw water pump (N202M-16) and I had to do the Mod the same as the M35. Thanks, you did answer a lot of my questions. I will need to see if I can change my exhaust flange (#298599) to one like yours. I may need to call them.
