Does anybody know the length of the exhaust hose on a Hunter 33 15hp Yanmar, measured from the mixing elbow to the thru-hull? Also what is the 10 inches of "accordian" type hose that connects to mixing elbow called? Thanks

I just replaced the hose from the mixing elbow to the muffler yesterday and its a 10 foot 2' diameter hose. I havent replaced the one from the muffler to the through hole yet as its in a lot better shape than the first piece. I guess the second piece doesnt take as much wear as its not as hot as the first "mixing" piece. If I had to guess its about the same length if not a couple feet shorter.
West marine has the hose and it was a hair under $150. If you can fit in the lazerett than you can do the work yourself.
I'm not sure what hose type your talking about. It almost sounds like the stuff thats used in the head. Could you take a picture of it?
