Help! The hose from the exhaust mixer elbow to the stainless muffler on my '81 Cherubini H-33 has a small leak. Neither West, nor Defenders can find a replacement. The hose markings are legible, but no maker info on it. Dimensions are listed as: 1-3/4 x 2 x 23-1/2. So, who out there has replaced theirs? Thanks all.

Check w/ Yanmar Dist.

Size is dictated by exhaust, so I would check with your local Yanmar distributor. /c

You're gonna love this!

I don't know about the stainless muffler, but the the hose sounds exactly like what was original on my 1983 CH33 -- A Gates automotive radiator hose. I got a replacement at my friendly (not realy) local auto parts store. About $20.00 if I recall. I used mine one season before swapping engines. See .. I told you you're gonna love it!

I had same problem

I had a pionhole in the riser elbow..and of course broke the hose removing it. You can the the mixer elbow from the locan Yanmar dealer..I used exhaust hose from BoatUS.. I guess radiator hose would probably work too.

I just spent a small fortune

replacing the entire exhaust system on my '79 H33. The 2" wet exhaust hose from West and Boat US cost a fortune to get from the elbow all the way to the stern thru-hull. I'm having a heck of a time getting the 2" hose over what was supposed to be a 2" exhaust elbow. Apparently the elbow has ballooned a bit over the years. Thus, it's now about 2 1/4". I'm still not certain how I'm going to work it out.
