To be honest, I don't remember how I got access to the hose clamp at the exhaust flap. I know I can get the panel off inside the lazarette to expose the steering quadrant, the panel at the foot of the quarterberth also is easily removed, and I also added a cut-out in the liner at the foot of the quarterberth (bottom of the berth) many years ago with an access hatch. Don't recall it being a problem, just cutting the old plastic flap into pieces with the Dremel, cleaning up the hole. My boat is in La Paz Mexico, left there 8 months ago in a marina (done this for 15 years). We return to her in November again for about 5 months of cruising. I'm in CA, 1500 miles away, otherwise I'd run down to the boat and have a positive answer. Sorry memory fades...
