Evinrude E-Tec OBM.

I just purchased 2009 26M with 60 HP Evinrude E-Tec. It came with Ultraflex B184 side mount control. It says in manual that I have to prime oiling system by performing long term winterization. As part of the procedure I have to lift “fast idle lever”. I don’t have this lever. Does anyone know how to prime oiling system with my side-mount controls?

Your control allows you to pull the handle out (away from the body) to release it from the shifting lock, and you can then move the handle foward for a fast idle without being in gear.

Pull-out handle disengages shift for warm-up
