Ever replace a muffler in an O'Day 272 LE

I believe it is possible I will need to replace the muffler in our boat. I know the exhaust
hose is leaking. I do not know if the muffler itself is leaking. The boat is in fresh water.
According to Rudy at D & R, The mufflers are Vetus Water loc models. Has anyone replaced a 272 muffler.

Pat, I never had to do it on my boat because I down sized to a 222 but when I had my catalina 30 i remember their being alot of talk about how to doit on that boat you might want to check the catalina website or ask all sailors and see if anyone thre can help you.

I'm making headway....only the hose is leaking, not the muffler itself....all else is ok....this afternoon we removed the hose and it is a 2 inch inside diameter...8 ft. long.. Also the muffler are Vetus Water Loc
mufflers...
