EV-200 Auto Pilot.

Has anyone installed an EV-200 Auto Pilot in a 32 foot sailboat? I am wondering where to mount drive and position sensor in the tight transom space

Is that a Wheel pilot or a linear drive?

I have an older wheel pilot (ST4000?) on my O’Day 322. I do not have a rudder reference though.

Compass is mounted in the bilge, and drive motor mounted on the pedestal.

Hi Greg. I have acquired an EV 200 linear drive. Fitting to the quadrant will be tough at best. I removed the panel at the foot of the aft cabin and will mount components there.

Sounds good. Tight getting in there, but I think there is plenty of room.
Take some photos...would love to see how you do it.
