i3DGear is a solid shop for some parts. He makes parts 3D printed. Is a designer and he stands behind his product. In the works is an available "Wheel Drive" that should become available in the next couple of months. That part is scarce or unavailable except for some that are out of the UK. Incidentally the original AutoHelm wheel was designed and built in the UK. RayMarine purchased it and redesigned the ST4000Mk II to be a part of the EV100 system.
Older Mark 1 wheel drives are black, gray wd's are Mark 2, they take different belts. I have purchased new belts from Polybelt in New Jersey, they sell on Ebay, their own website and maybe Amazon. Per John's post, I have a Mark 1 drive from 1994 that has both Autohelm and Raymarine branding, from early in the acquisition of Autohelm.

The belts available online mostly say their pn is D169, and are made to work with the MK I version which seems contradictory.. I believe mine, being grey, is a MK II component of the EV100 but I bought both the polypro generic and the raymarine version. If they're the same, the one that costs 2x (guess) is getting returned.
