Found this box and was able to power it up. It has a green light flashing for DSL. What would I use this for? In order on the left are Power, Ethernet, USB, DSL, and Internet.

that would work that way only if you were plugged in to phone service at the dock...........or if you had a very long phone line when you travel .....we could call it the trans atlantic cable

That is an obsolete DSL modem used by Verizon in rural ideas of California with copper phone lines, to provide the world's slowest DSL I have one on my nightstand and this post has passed thru.

Comcast used the same one in RI in the early 2000's. Rip it out and send it to the Smithsonian.

Figures, the one thing working well and I don't need it. I was hoping it would improve my TV reception without finding that other little box.
