Has anyone made their own customized version of the etap removable traveler? The etap traveler can be easily removed from the cockpit by removing two screws. Allows one to have a roomy cockpit for Happy Hour and quickly install the traveler for race day. I have calculated loads for my Oday 222 and have designed a system using Harken Hi Load track and a windward sheeting car, mounting traveler just forward of the cockpit lazarrette hatches. Traveler will attach to mainsheet about 1 foot from end boom when traveler is in use, and can revert to use original configuration (mainsheet attached to triangle plate on backstay) for cruising. I hope to have it ready for the first race of the spring season.
