Ericson 32 Models

Hi, Does anyone have information on how to determine your Ericson 32's model.I.E. I have a 1987 Ericson 32 and don't know any way to determine if it's the basic 32 rated 198 PHRF or the 32-2 rated 180 or the 32-3 rated 150.I've tried to find some reference to serial numbers without success, any suggestions are appreciated.

sry I hate to tell you this but you are the proud owner of an Ericson 32-3 that rates down to 150 phrf in some areas. Over 50 years of racing and when I sailed mine it was hard to sail to rating unless everything was perfect. But what a good boat to sail... I sure miss Alchemy and am looking for some other to buy. Ralph

Any Clues??

Hi Ralph,Thanks for the tremendously quick reply, but can you give me any clues on how you know? I have the original Ericson paperwork and can't find any reference to this in there.I scoured the net and discovered that the original 32 circa 70's was lighter 8800lbs shorter dwl 24'0" and narrower 9'8" beam. So that tells me that mine is a 32-2 or 32-3. I don't think it is a 32-200 because the interiors are different even though the stats are the same.Again thanks, Frank
