Hi Brion, I don't know if you are familiar with the E 23, but the manual is very general about tuning. I was wondering if you had any thoughts on this (masthead rig, by the way, with a split backstay, and one set of spreaders). The mast is quite beefy (same on was used on the e 26)-6" oval, so very little mast bend. When I bought my boat, she came with a lot of sails, all hanked on. I do some club racing with her, on a high mountain lake with variable winds. This led me to wonder about a twin forestay set-up. Is this a good idea? And if so, what measurements and componants would I need? Thank you for your time! Cheers Mark

Hi, Mark

Hey Mark, I don't know the answer to your question about your headstays, but I'm wondering if I know you from the bay area in the 80's. Did you teach sailing w/ me at OCSC in Berkeley. If not, good luck w/ your E23. If so, hi, and I've got something important to tell you about, so email me. Tim dunlap@pon.net
