I think that it only removed about 1/4 inch of the material or so. Just a warning. This thing worked great on my cabin, but someone told me that it did not work well on the gunwale. I do not know if it was because his where not as brittle or what. I am going to do this in the next couple of weeks too. This time I may bring my compressor down to the boat and do it with a pneumatic drill rather than an electric drill. That is what the directions actually recommend. Have you found the Eraser yet? If not here is a place to get one. Be sure to get the arbor too.
