Epoxy repair on fuel tank

My fuel tank was identified as leaking during the survey six years ago. The PO pulled it, found pinholes on the bottom under the mounting strap and at the front seam. He fixed them with epoxy. I knew it wasn't going to last. I drained the tank at the end of the year last year hoping to get to it last spring. I didn't. It's leaking again. :lame:

Bob if the po pulled it, that means it'll come out. ??? If there's a placard on it you can get an exact replacement. That happens this winter for us for peace of mind. I did this with a leaky water tank last winter.

...unlike my frigging water tank :cussing: That is still a work in progress. Certainly isn't coming out easy with all the hardened foam.

I put a new absorber under it two weeks ago and it is soaked already. I am going to instead the tank , prop it up and try to patch it again to get through the season. I also got a new aborber pillow for the bilge.
