Epoxy filling of bottom of anchor well

I have just purchased a 44 Hunter DS and cleaned out the anchor well And found that there is a lot of junk below the drain hole, Has anyone epoxied up to the level of the drain hole To stop the anchor sitting in any water

I've noticed that on our old Hunter and did exactly that - added epoxy to fill the void. Kept the anchor well much drier.

I think my anchor locker on my 07 H-36 has 2 drain holes if I remember but not sure,I know some times stuff collects on the bottom and clogs the drain hole and prevents it from draining.

Well I have cleaned out the anchor well, filled with expanding foam then glassed over it. Only anchored twice so far & my new chain looks like it is keeping nice and dry!
