Anyone have experience with West Systems 423 Graphite Powder and use on sliding hatches as a wear surface?

No, but have seen owners put thin stripes of HDPE under the sliding hatch to provide a smooth slippery surface of their hatch to slide upon.

Thanks for that link! I had some HDPE that I was using for shims to tighten up the rudder where it fits into the yoke, but lost them when my rudder bolt broke (fortunately I did not loose my rudder too!). Trying to get small pieces from my local plastics shop did not work out. Good to know this source is out there.

Hunter screwed a couple of 1/4" X 1" strips on the underside of their sliding hatches back in 1999 as part of their production process.
Don't know how much of a bugger this would be to remove the sliding hatch on the OP's C-22.
I've used Tri-Flow Superior Lubricant 2 OZ bottle for years as a lubricant. Just a light bead on the sliding surfaces will last at least several months, minimum. But be super careful if there is any possibility of getting your fingers hurt as you open or close the hatch, as it will slide very easily!
The graphite additive is a good product. I used to add it the epoxy I used on the bottom of my wooden pram. It provided protection of the bottom from stones on the beach, provided easier dragging on the beach and it was a pretty good antifouling coating.

Take pics. I found my aft edge of my sliding hatch was rubbing against the cabin top. Made a horrendous noise. The fuzzy side of velcro wrapped around that edge has eliminated all unpleasantries and took less than 5 minutes to apply. Still going strong after four years. Take pics as the real reason for my issue is the wooden track has worn down over the years. Yours may be the same
