On my 2000 340, I need to replace the PVC Bottom Drip Edge molding that holds the Entryway Hatch Panels. It has cracked and a small piece on the right side broke off today while I was waxing.
I’m looking for the same material and if anyone knows where I can get this piece. I’m open to ideas.
Thank you for the help.

"Starboard" brand plastic. Sold in sheets/panels of various sizes depending upon where you buy it. It's UV and weather resistant to the max. Primarily sold in white.
Can be cut, sanded and screwed. BUT, it defies gluing, as far as I can tell.
Others may have a solution to this
Should work for your application.

I didn’t even give Starboard a thought. I could get a piece and router out the L shape I need. Thank you. I’ll go look.

I ordered a piece of Starboard, I’ll cut out the shape and profile to match the original piece. As there is no weight to speak of on the strip, just the four hatch-boards, this should more than serve my needs.
What I was very surprised at, when I removed the piece, was there was NO signs of any sealant behind it or in the screw holes. I should have seen some residue of caulking on the threads, but nothing. But no signs of any leaking.

Just something for others to look at on their boats, for potential leak that just appears and can’t be traced.
The profile is simple enough to match.
