Engine Stern Tube for Hunter 29.5

I'm repowering and would like to replace the 30-year-old bronze stern tube.
Does anyone know where this can be purchased or who manufactured these for Hunter?
I think the industry name would be "1 3/4 Shaft Log with 2 bolt backing plate"

Try Buck Algonquin. They may have one, or be able to direct you to a source, if it’s still made. Photos and dimensions of what you are trying to replace would be helpful.
I was not so lucky when I needed to replace the bronze shaft log tube on my ‘82 H30. The part was out of production and I had to have one machined. Fortunately, a local machine shop that works with my yacht yard saved the day. I just gave them the old one as a template. I think it cost around $120 US, but that was about 12 years ago.

What's the driver behind replacing? I just bought a 29.5 and was about to replace the hose, but didn't think to replace the tube itself.

Is your stern tube solid and in place? If so, no need to repair/replace. The OP said that his stern tube was broken loose and spinning due to some damage.
