On our 2004 33, the tape on the seams of my engine soundproofing has worn out, and I'm looking at what material I should use to re-tape them. I've used Venture Tape 1581A (www.venturetape.com) before, primarily for HVAC projects, but don't know if it would would work in the engine compartment. The high temperature resistance is listed at 270 degrees, but don't know if the adhesive would withstand the environmentals of the engine compartment. Does anyone have any recommendations on what tape should be used? Or can the Venture Tape be used? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Jason s/v On Site Again Hunter 33
