I'm a new Catalina 34 MkII owner and I can not find the dip stick for checking the engine oil. Where is it? My engine is a 35 hp Universial Diesel. Also, how often, how many running hours, should one change the V-belt on the engine? Thanks, Art Greenman

Stbd side, toward the rear
Assuming you have the M35 engine, the dipstick is on the starboard side, toward the rear of the block. The attached link shows a parts diagram layout which should get you close.
