Engine Mounts

Hi all,
I am trying to reengineer the position of the engine (MD6B) back to
its proper place. I would like to find out if anyone could tell me
the distance between the bolt holes for the mounting the engine
mounts on the stringer and if I should use a single or double
mounting studs. It looks as if the mounting bracket could except
both. Also, are the back and front mounts the same?. If anyone can
recommend any aftermarket engine mounts it would be appreciated.

Paul,

I uploaded two files in the "Files" section under MD6B Mount folder.
I made them public, instead of emailing to you, so that others can
verify/comment/flame/whatever. A few notes,

1) Sorry I used inches to whoever uses metric.
2) The measurements are from bolt to bolt.
3) I measured the distance from mount to a boat feature (forward lip)
but dropped notepad in the bilge so forgot to write it down.
4) I may have gotten the orientation of the aft mount wrong. When I
when to draw from my notes, couldn't remember if I already switched
the orientation of the original or not. I'll try to verify later.
5) I started with the metal plates that sit on fiberglass mount. If
you need dimensions of fiberglass mount, I could try and take some.

This should get you started. Please respond if you need other
details or measurements.

Many thanks again. This was exactly what I was looking for. Good to
hear that the work on the stuffing box was a success.
