Mine need replacing as well. You (we) will definately have to realign after installing the new mounts, but there is quite a bit of info available through this site, the Tech Tips by Dick Dickens (which you should buy if you haven't already), and other books, etc. Universal mounts cost about $75 each. I found the same item for $35 each at a local marine diesel service center/parts store. Shop around! You can also get flexible couplings that take the criticality out of the alignment, but I don't know how good they are. Good luck!
