Engine Manual

I do not have the engine manual for a Hunter 31 2006. The engine is a yanmar 21hp. I have contacted yanmar and they sent me a service manual that is way to complicated for me to understand. I also checked the huntermarine website without luck. Is the engine manual something that is given to everyone that buys a new boat? What is in the engine manual?

The "Engine Manual" is like the operators manual and gives details on how to start/ stop the engine and service intervals. Here is a link to the manual http://www.ayesail.net/sailing/Hunter/YanmarManual/Yanmar_Manual.html

You should have got this and one for the sail-drive with your boats other documentation.

The Engine Operating Manual is not much of a use once you learn how to operate the engine and know the service internal. But the Engine Service Manual is a goldmine.
Do treasure it. When come the time to fix problem or buy spares parts, its worth it weight in gold.
