I have owned a Catalina 30' for three years (1975), and would like to know why my Satalina has extra water lines to the engine. I have an electric pump connected to my seawater pick-up that feeds water to my engine water-pump. Is this something designed to correct a problem or can it be eliminated? It appears to be an after market setup. Please advise. Thanks, H. Gamble
