My e33 came with the engine control panel on the inside coaming of the starboard bench in the cockpit. It makes that seat unusable due to the fact that buttons get butt dialed, people have stopped my engine on a number of occasions accidentally. Has anyone put a cover on these or moved the panel altogether?

Is it recessed like 07 H-36 which has a plastic cover with a hole for the key and stop button,I added a outboard kill coiled line because when it the off the key has fallen down and I wanted to make sure the key there when needed to start the motor, any photo's of it and I will look for mine.

Mine isn't recessed like that and nor does it require a key. Wish I had that old system though.
If I put a cover on it then it will be bulging out pretty far.

I saw some pictures of the newer Hunters and at the boat shows and to be honest I was not in love with the changes they did to my 36 but that just me and just love my 36 just the way it is,only thing I miss is the counter top drop in ref or really freezer,I have a front load which my wife prefers but I would love a extra freezer in the counter like the older 356 and even thought about install a freezer below the counter behind the sink but instead I got a portable engel and it works real good.
So no key ?????.

Yea no key, just a switch down below that powers up the cockpit control panel. It's in an awful location though and need to find a solution. In its current place it takes up a quarter of my cockpit seating. Ridiculous.
