Does anybody know what the engine bed rails are made of? One of my engine mount bolts is starting to strip out. I did not want to pull it out just yet but am looking for a fix. Thanks
On older Hunters, the engine bed rails are fiberglass and gel coated wood. You can verify the material by pulling one or more of the engine mount bolts and take a look. Recently, my mechanic recommended replacing some of my mounting lag bolts with larger ones since engine vibration over the years will tend to pull them out.
