My 1977 -27' Hunter has a Electro-Marine Systems knotmeter with a damaged sending unit( inner transmitter )The little whell under the boat . Does anyone know where I might locate this item. Thanks Carter S/V Irish Fox

Hi Carter, What a strange coincidence! The guy who made EMS instruments lives in my neighborhood. His name is Ron Overs and he lives at 96 Foxhunt Lane, East Amherst, NY 14051. His phone number is (716) 688-6475. We had EMS instruments on a boat we owned decades ago in Rochester NY, and we were surprised to find out that the manufacturer lived in our new neighborhood when we moved to the Buffalo area.
