Where can I find an emergency tiller for a 1985 Hunter 34 that will fit into the aft opening in case the wheel fails? Do I have to make one? I bought the boat used and it did not come with one.

Why not check around the boat one more time, especially deep under the cockpit seats. If it is lke mine, it is a black metal pipe contraption and probably has never seen the light of day. I would not be suprised if you find it. Good luck
